All our weddings at Barnsdale Gardens are unique. However, to give you an idea as to how your day might go, we have set out a typical wedding below.

Your day will begin with the arrival of your guests, usually about half an hour to an hour before your chosen ceremony time. They will be greeted and shown the way to the Wedding Arbour where the ceremony will take place.

The Groom will arrive next and will be met by Charlotte and then taken to speak with the Registrar, so the running of the ceremony and all the legal formalities can be taken care of. Charlotte will then escort the Groom to the Arbour to await the arrival of the Bride.

The Bride will then arrive and be seen by the Registrar who will again go through all the legal formalities. While this is happening Charlotte will check to ensure that all guests and the groom are in place and ready for the Bride's arrival. Charlotte will then escort the bridal party to the Arbour for the ceremony to take place.

After the ceremony, the bridal party and guests move on to a Champagne and canapés drinks reception. Later, while the guests continue to enjoy refreshments, your photographer can take advantage of the beautiful gardens for wedding pictures.

Your caterers then take over for your wedding breakfast and evening reception in the marquee.
Charlotte is around to oversee that everything is running smoothly: ensuring that the evening guests are shown to the marquee; the band and DJ are set up and at the end of the night, making sure that everyone has left safely.
