Local botanical artist, Dawn Wright, will be exhibiting in our garden studio on various dates throughout September whilst demonstrating her work. Dawn is drawn to the wonderful colours and textures of nature and spend hours depicting detail in watercolour, graphite or coloured pencil. While here she will be exhibiting her new Barnsdale Dahlia Collection, inspired by our wonderful gardens. We are pleased to be teaming with Dawn and have her new Dahlia Collection for sale in our gift shop.
On the 13th and 14th September, another local artist, Eve Marshall, will be joining Dawn Wright. Eve Marshall is an Artisan Felter with her original artwork pieces having over fifty fine layers of wool and other textural pieces to add depth and realism. Eve has always be inspired by nature and wildlife and loves to see how much detail she can create using wool. You'll find many of her pieces inspired by the gardens.
When autumn hits, don't shut your door on your garden because there are plenty of stunning plants to create a spectacular late summer/autumn display. Emma will talk you through some of the best.
