Spring Vegetable Week: 13th - 19th May, 11am - 4pm

If you love growing your own food then Barnsdale is the place to be this week. We'll be opening up all the productive areas that are normally off-limits to visitors and our expert growers will be available to advise you on your own veggie production and chat about their favourite subject.

We will also be conducting demos and tours of our kitchen gardens.

Visit the Allotment and stock up on exclusive Barnsdale Gardens organic vegetable plants to get you started at home and make a note in your diary of our Summer Vegetable Week, when you’ll be able to see all our hard work coming to fruition.

Free with admission.

Pop up Studio with felter, Eve Marshall: 24th May, from 11am

Eve has been working creatively with felt for over fourteen years, using a variety of wet and dry felting techniques.

Original artwork pieces have over 50 fine layers of wool and other textural pieces to add depth and realism.

Eve has always been inspired by nature and wildlife and loves to see how much detail she can create using wool. She has a series of pieces inspired by Barnsdale Gardens.

She will be exhibiting her work and doing demos in the studio and will have gifts including cushions, glass worktop savers, mugs and coasters.

Free with admission.
