Marie-Thérèse King, Exhibition of Batik Work: 16th June - 27th June, 10am - 4pm.

Marie-Thérèse's exhibition of batik work is open to all and free with garden admission. She describes herself as a non-digital designer, creating exquisite batik textile designs inspired by her passion for British wildlife, in particular birds, butterflies, insects and wild flowers, using the ancient Indonesian art-form of layering melted wax and water based dyes on Indonesian cotton to create vibrant paintings.

 

Marie-Thérèse teaches workshops in printmaking, cyanotype, batik and collage and will be hosting a workshop at Barnsdale Gardens on 27th June, 2025. Click here to book now...

Barnsdale Gardens After Hours: 12th June, 6pm - 8:30pm

Explore the gardens after hours, all visitors will be treated to a glass of wine or fizz upon arrival accopmpanied by relaxing live music from Deeanne Dexter.

 

It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends after hours, in a beautiful setting. Pre-booking essential.
