Snowdrop Month: 5th - 29th February, 10am - 4pm

It's the perfect time to come and indulge yourself in our extensive range of snowdrops planted throughout the gardens. There are lots of our common snowdrops as well as many rare and unusual varieties to see, all mixed in with so much other winter interest. This is a time of year not to be missed!

On the 16th and 18th of February, throughout the day, snowdrop expert, Gill Hadland, will be with us doing short talks and with snowdrops for sale.

Free with admission.

Winter and Snowdrops Walk: Breakfast and a Guided Walk, 13th February. 9:30am - 12:30pm

Start your day with a cooked breakfast on us then join Nick Hamilton for a very special tour of Barnsdale.

It's a great time of year to really see and understand the ideas behind each garden and you'll be amazed at how much colour there is to enjoy, with brightly coloured bark and berries, drifts of Hellebores and the Geoff Hamilton Winter Border which features over 9000 Snowdrops, all individually planted by hand.

Enjoy breakfast from 9.30am. The walk starts at 10.30am.

Friends of Barnsdale receive £3 discount.
