Snowdrop Season: 3rd - 28th February, 10am - 4pm

It's the perfect time to come and indulge yourself in our excellent range of snowdrops planted throughout the gardens. There are lots of our common snowdrop as well as many rare and unusual varieties to see, all mixed in with so much other winter interest. This is a time of year not to be missed!

 

Snowdrop talks with Gill Hadland: 11th & 14th Feb, 11am-2pm.

Winter and Snowdrops Walk: Breakfast and a Guided Walk, 11th & 15th February, 9:30am - 12:30pm

Start your day with a cooked breakfast on us then join Nick Hamilton for a very special tour of Barnsdale.

 

It's a great time of year to really see and understand the ideas behind each garden and you'll be amazed at how much colour there is to enjoy, with brightly coloured bark and berries, drifts of Hellebores and the Geoff Hamilton Winter Border which features over 9000 Snowdrops, all individually planted by hand.

 

Enjoy breakfast from 9.30am. The walk starts at 10.30am.

 

Friends of Barnsdale receive £3 discount when booking in person.

Free Nursery Walk & Talk, 'Stunning Winter Shrubs': 21st February, 11:30am - 11:50am

Our nursery manager, Emma, will help you discover which shrubs to choose to make your winter garden glorious.

 

Free. No need to book, just turn up.
