Alpine House
This large greenhouse is used to display alpines, many of which would not survive outside in our wet winter climate. Strong benching has been used to create an area of permanent planting, while opposite potted plants are sunk into sand so that they can be replaced once their period of interest has passed. The greenhouse is unheated as its sole purpose is to provide protection from the rain so that all water applied to the plants can be regulated.
